Are you an experienced Rental Electrician looking for a dynamic role with a market leader in the design, manufacture and rental of industry-leading products?  IDE Systems is seeking a talented and motivated Rental Electrical Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in providing top-notch electrical services to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of rental equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the depot repair, inspection and testing service whilst maintaining the quality of the IDE Rental fleet, and meeting timelines to correlate with customer service level agreements and KPI’s – ensuring equipment is ‘ready for hire’

Conduct inspections and testing to ensure equipment meets safety standards.

Building and reworking site distribution boards to customer specs.

Carrying out site temporary power distribution installations and de-installing equipment.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and enquiries.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrician, within the temporary power environment (Key products being Distribution boards, power cables, AMF, EV Chargers and Erica energy management systems)

Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Certifications and qualifications: 18th Edition Electrical Standards BS 7671. Level 3 Electrical Installation. Electrical Inspection and Testing.

Driving Licence

Forklift licence desirable

Ability and agility to adapt to operational changes and challenges
