BAM Construct is currently recruiting for a Document Controller to join the Central Region.
This is a full time role with mix of office, site and home hybrid working.

Your mission
Document Control
• Facilitate and efficiently manage the project’s common data environment, Autodesk ACC and BAM Source, including uploading/downloading project drawings (with the comprehension of naming conventions to PAS1192 Standard for BIM) and resolving queries.
• Issue and distribute controlled copies of information ensuring compliance with design management procedures
• Act as main point of contact for support and coaching of project users including third parties such as client teams, designers, subcontractors, suppliers on Source and ACC
• Maintaining RFI and CVI registers and maintaining up to date hard copies of all project drawings
• Quality checking all documentation and drawings and efficiently communicate updates with project team members
• Work in accordance with the applicable project procedures and within required timescales
• Circulate documents for review, information, or approval by following project procedures and protocols
• Assist in preparing and issuing project status/progress reports as required
• Assist in project close-out and handover/archiving and filing activities
General office Administration
• Uploading of all environmental information onto BAM Smart (Muck away tickets, skip tickets, oil tickets, timber tickets, toolbox talks, meter readings, PMP & Resource management plan, Shred-it totals)
• Uploading of information to BAM internal data management systems (Source, Flow, PMP App, ACC)
• Be first point of contact for all queries and enquiries relating to the project, always portraying a professional and efficient image
• Moving emails from project mailbox over to Livelink or Source
• Manage visitor/staff signing in on MSite Management Solution
• Monitoring and ordering of site stationery and supplies
• Upkeep of project staff absence spreadsheet and site shared calendar
• Assisting and processing with the input of induction data on site
• Assisting in the collation of site information and the compilation of various reports (project reports/health & safety/environmental/CSR figures)
Who are we looking for?
• NEC contract experience ideally
• Experienced user of electronic document management systems. Systems such as, Autodesk ACC or BIM 360, internal EDMS systems. Skills are transferable from other systems and training is available.
• Excellent computer skills i.e., Microsoft Office 365, Excel, and Word. Willingness to expand knowledge when new systems are introduced.
• Excellent level of literacy and writing skills
• Excellent time management and able to commit and work to deadlines
• Be a team player, flexible and able to work with others
• Excellent communication skills
Demonstrable experience of working within a similar role in construction
