We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by efficiently handling materials, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Due to the company running 24 hours a day the warehouse team work a rotating shift pattern. 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm and Nights 10pm-6am.

Duties

* Perform heavy lifting and materials handling to load and unload goods from lorries.

* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

* Maintain accurate records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels.

* Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly stored.

* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform basic repairs as needed.

* Utilise basic maths skills to measure, weigh, and calculate quantities of materials.

* Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

* Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks in the workplace.

Requirements

* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not essential.

* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.

* Familiarity with forklifts and other warehouse machinery is advantageous.

* Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment repair tasks is desirable.

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for inventory management.

* Good mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork is essential.

* Flexibility to work various shifts as required by operational needs.
