Site Engineer – Highways & Earthworks

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a 6-month contract on a highways and earthworks scheme in Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a key infrastructure project with a reputable contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for highways and earthworks activities

*

Ensuring works are completed to specification, on time, and within budget

*

Managing quality control and compliance with design and safety standards

*

Providing technical support to site teams and liaising with project managers

*

Conducting site inspections and resolving technical issues

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in site engineering for highways and earthworks projects

*

Proficiency with setting out equipment (GPS, total station, laser levels)

*

Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations

*

Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related field

*

CSCS card and relevant site certifications preferred
