English Teacher (Mainstream Secondary School)

Are you a passionate English teacher looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent role?

We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join a lovely, welcoming, and motivated secondary school in Newham. This position is to start after October Half term.

Position: English Teacher (Long-Term to Permanent)

Location: Newham
Pay Rate: £150 to £230 per day (umbrella)
Qualifications: Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Contract: Long-term position with the potential to become permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that cater to a range of student abilities.
Supporting students in developing their language, literature, and communication skills.
Maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

A qualified teacher with QTS and a strong background in teaching English.
Enthusiastic about fostering a love for literature and language.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
