IT Support Analyst

Telford, Shropshire

Permanent

Up to £30k per annum

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm

We are working with a well-established client based in Telford who are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced IT Professional to join their existing team. The successful candidate will be providing 1st line support and assistance to front-line users with all aspects of IT systems, administering and ensuring integrity of systems, processes and access control.

The IT Support Technician will be responsible for:

* Provide swift and effective 1st Line support to users across the business

* Maintaining support logs to enable reporting

* Ensuring any support tickets raised are managed and resolved in an efficient manner

* Supporting in all hardware, software, and systems installations, migrations and de-commissioning

* Assist with IT audits and maintain effective inventories

* Supporting the department with any wider IT related projects

* Provide support with any hardware, software, applications and networking

Essential Attributes

* Previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support role

* Good level of technical knowledge around hardware and software issues

* Relevant qualification in ICT based discipline

* Good knowledge of PC based hardware architecture, PC Networks, basic telecommunication network knowledge, windows desktop and server operating systems, email/calendar systems, CRM and ERP Methodologies as well as anti-virus software.
