This role involves overseeing the Reflection Room, handling student withdrawals, conducting interventions, and providing valuable pastoral support for Heads of Year.

Position: Pastoral Support Worker Location: Hertford - Start Date: ASAP

Role Responsibilities:

Reflection Room Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Reflection Room, providing a supportive environment for students.

Student Withdrawals: Facilitate and manage the withdrawal process for students, ensuring a smooth transition.

Interventions: Implement targeted interventions to support students facing challenges, fostering positive outcomes.

Pastoral Support: Collaborate with Heads of Year to provide effective pastoral care, addressing the diverse needs of students.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: Previous experience in a pastoral support role within an educational setting is highly desirable.

Empathy: Demonstrate a compassionate and understanding approach in supporting students.

Communication: Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and parents effectively.

Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain a structured approach to the role.
