POSITION : Civils Contracts Manager

LOCATION : Commutable from Grimsby , Hull , Scunthorpe , Doncaster, Beverley, Driffield , York , Selby , Leeds, Lincoln 

THE ROLE : Our client would like to recruit an experienced Civils Contracts Manager to join their busy Civils team who are responsible for delivering high quality , high value construction projects.  They are a well respected main contractor who work on prestigious projects throughout the UK.

SALARY AND BENEFITS : £80 - 90 k + car or allowance , bonus , healthcare

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Proven track record of managing civil works across a range of sectors whilst working for a main contractor
Ensure contracts run to schedule and to budget
Ensure works are completed to the highest level of quality and in line with Company procedures.
Upfront planning and mobilisation in advance of works commencing on site.
Input into Resource Management including “look ahead” programmes, material scheduling, plant and labour forecasting and progress on site is regularly benchmarked against target programme.
Effective man management of senior site staff / motivating workforce to meet project deadlines and targets.
Client liaison – promote a positive client interface ensuring that our clients maintain the highest level of confidence with the Company.
Fostering a continuous improvement culture by actively seeking input from all members of the project team
Maintain a continuous process of evaluation of Consultant's and in-house designs designs to ensure that proposals adhere to best practice in Value Engineering and endeavour to identify and highlight Value Engineering opportunities To find out more about the Civils Contracts Manager role please contact Steve Ball on the number provided
