Job Role: Applications Engineer (Field-Based)

Location: Field-based role in the Midlands, South East, or South West, with travel across the UK and Europe as needed.

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 Including bonus for project completions

A leading CNC machinery company is looking for skilled Applications Engineers to join their team. This field-based role will require travel across the UK and Europe, depending on project needs, and flexibility is key.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide machine set-up, prove-out, and operator training within your designated region and occasionally across Europe.

* Deliver expert technical support to customers, dealers, and sales teams, including machine demonstrations and programming assistance.

* Prepare machining methods and cycle time estimates, ensuring efficiency and optimal performance.

* Support machine installations at customer sites and company showrooms.

* Offer remote and on-site troubleshooting, after-sales support, and technical advice.

* Collaborate with international dealer networks and attend overseas training as necessary.

Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in an applications engineering or similar role.

* Comprehensive knowledge of metal cutting processes and machinery operation.

* Ability to work independently and within a team.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
