Project Engineer (Optics/Lasers)

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to take a lead role in developing next-generation laser technology.

In this role, you will work with advanced laser technology, contributing to a range of innovative applications across fields like precision engineering, scientific research, and emerging technologies. As a Project Engineer, you will be at the forefront of both internal and customer-facing projects, contributing to the development of innovative solutions in optics and laser technology.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in optics, systems engineering, or related fields, with experience in project management. You will lead projects from the planning phase through to delivery, coordinating both internal teams and client interactions. Additionally, you will gain hands-on experience designing systems, conducting proof-of-concept trials, and running live demonstrations for clients. 

The role offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, with on-site presence required for hands-on tasks, and remote work possible when managing meetings or administrative work.

Position: Project Engineer (Optics/Lasers)

Location: Oxford
Salary: £45k - £55k per annum (dependent on experience)
