Rotating shifts: 6am-2:30pm and 9:30am-6pm, Mon-Fri

We have an opportunity for a Shift Desk Coordinator at Cadishead.

Reporting to and working alongside the Duty Shift Manager, you will coordinate all materials inbound and outbound from gate entrance through to exit, including weighbridge duties, driver inductions and all inbound and outbound safety documents. You will be at the front line ensuring safe procedures are followed at all times.

As Shift Desk Controller, you will be the link between all departments to help with the safe and efficient operational success of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Letting all vehicles onto site via the front gate using the intercom system
+ Conducting first line safety checks for ullage, correct UNs, correct quantities etc.
+ Creating operational work documentation
+ Carrying out roll calls on the driver books, visitor books and site books
+ Opening, closing tanks on the SCADA system, loading up production orders and doing general tasks on the SCADA system to cover the Shift Manager
+ Covering the shift managers on the radio
+ Taking calls to book vehicles into site using the ACCESS system
+ HMRC Document processing
+ Other tasks and admin as required

We Are Looking For:

+ Exceptional organisational skills
+ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
+ High level of customer service
+ Self starter
+ Numerically accurate and competent
+ Strong IT skills - mainly Excel, Outlook, Word
+ Dangerous Good Note Qualification and Emergency Roll Call Training is desirable but not essential
+ SAP knowledge is desirable
