Production Engineer

* Salary £40,000 to £45,000 per annum DOE

A global manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Production Engineer with an electrical background.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Role & Responsibilities

* Providing technical support for both maintenance and production departments

* Working to reduce machine downtime and improve efficiency

* PLC and robot programming required for machine modification and improvement

* Making modifications to equipment to achieve OEE targets

* Keeping up to date with new technology research

* Designing and implementing cost effective modifications to improve reliability of machine automation

Knowledge & Experience

* Extensive experience of Robotics and PLC programming (Fanuc and Omron)

* Knowledge of the APQP Quality process

* Good understanding of machinery safety legislation

* Must have Level 4 electrically bias qualification

* Experience working within a similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
