Job Title: Electrical Authorised Person (AP) - Site Temporary Services

About the Role
Spencer & James are seeking for a highly organized and safety-conscious Electrical Authorised Person (AP) to oversee site safety protocols, manage permitting processes, and ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules and industry standards. This role is essential for maintaining a secure, efficient, and well-documented work environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Uphold and enforce safety guidelines and best practices across all site activities.

* Prepare and manage safety permits, including isolations, and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.

* Verify all isolations are double-locked by relevant parties and maintain up-to-date isolation records with photographic evidence.

* Keep detailed site logs, including permits, lock and key registers, and LV records, updated daily.

* Perform routine safety inspections, including weekly Yellow Jack reviews, and monitor compliance with quality standards.

* Participate in daily briefings and high-risk activity meetings as needed.

* Update schematics to reflect current isolation statuses and manage project documentation

* Train and supervise team members, ensuring they meet required competencies and adhere to safety procedures.

* Record and report all incidents, accidents, and near-misses promptly and in line with company guidelines.

* Conduct safety checks and maintain quality assurance to create a secure and effective work environment.

Experience:

* Proven experience as an Electrical Authorised Person, preferably in Site Temporary Services sector.

* Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.

* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping.

* Effective communication and leadership skills to work with diverse teams and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

* C&G: AP 12

* Fully Qualified Electrician

* NVQ Level 3: Electrical Qualification

* ECS Gold Card

* First Aid at Work
