We have an exciting opportunity for a Hire Desk Controller to join the team based in Enfield, North London that supplies plant hire equipment into the construction industry.
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and flexible all-rounder to work as part of a busy hire desk team within a very supportive company. This is a temp to Perm position for the right person. The role reports into the Hire Desk Manager, and the main parts of the role include:

Role

• First point of contact for customer enquiries on a sales orientated hire desk.
• Build relationships with clients and provide accurate quotations
• Planning transport for deliveries and collections
• To proactively work jointly with all departments
• Dealing with damages, calculating costs, liaising with customers.
• Full training on product range will be given.

Required Skills:

• Experience in the hire industry is preferable
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills including MS packages.
• You must be reliable, enthusiastic, and well organised.
• The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and proactive.
