The Role:
It's an exciting time to be joining University College Birmingham. We are rapidly expanding our portfolio of further education and higher education courses, and as part of our growing School Liaison and UK recruitment team, you will play a key part on that journey.
As a great communicator with a passion for education, you will be responsible for delivering your own school account management plan, working as a facilitator and the first point of contact between local feeder schools and University College Birmingham.
You will foster strong relationships with key contacts within your schools, planning and delivering a programme of high quality, strategically aligned talks and interactive workshops to their students. We are therefore seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent presentation skills to join our team, who will plan and deliver external activities and on campus events.
As well as having the responsibility for liaison between feeder schools and our college and sixth form, the postholder will also work closely with our current Level 3 students, supporting them with progression to higher education. This will involve working with our academic staff and planning taster sessions for them to attend.
Finally, you will be joining a wider team of recruitment and outreach officers, and will attend national recruitment events alongside these colleagues, therefore there's plenty of opportunities to travel across the UK.
Hybrid working is available with this role and a flexible approach to work is required.
