KS2 Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

£410 - £425 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

This three-form entry Primary School in Chester-le-Street (DH3) is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join them on a full-time basis. The appointed KS2 Teaching Assistant will be supporting a child in Year 4 on a 1:1 basis. The child has ASD and needs additional support to remain on task. This is a ‘Good’ school, where staff work hard to ensure the needs of all children are met. Children feel happy coming to school.

Requirements

The desired KS2 Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
