Shorterm group are working with a leading Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) company who are looking to appoint B1 and/or B2 Licensed Engineers, type-rated on A319/A320 and B777, for a full-time, permanent role at their site in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing team and contribute to the ongoing success of their Base operations.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Base Maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Part 145 maintenance requirements, and adhering to established maintenance processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and certify aircraft maintenance within the scope of company approvals.
Ensure timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Order necessary spare parts through customer and company systems, complete paperwork for unserviceable components, and accurately log all maintenance activities and man-hours.
Provide support for Ad-hoc AOG (Aircraft on Ground) requirements.
Execute maintenance tasks efficiently and within required timeframes.
Rectify defects on inbound aircraft.
Greet and debrief incoming flight crews.
Handle engineering dispatch for aircraft as required.
Maintain a high standard of work in all assigned tasks.
Ensure documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, regulations, and Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) guidelines.
Maintain a safe, clean working environment, adhering to Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
Valid Part 66 Licence (B1, B2, or B1/B2).
Type rated on A319/A320 and B777.
Preferably, previous experience in Base Maintenance.
Minimum of 3 years' experience as an aviation technician.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with flexibility for changing work demands.
Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence is essential
