Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant.
Location: Stockport, Reddish SK5.
Salary: £1750 - £1800 per month.
Contract Type: Temporary.
Hours: Term time only.
The role and school
Are you a proud, friendly and open individual ready for your next step in the education of young learners? We are looking for a positive and dedicated Teaching Assistant experienced with SEN pupils to become part of a welcoming and driven team in a one form Primary Academy within Stockport. This job role is working with and assisting specific students through their time at school.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting a student one-to-one with complex needs, providing additional assistance to them to fulfil their learning.
Create a comfortable and supported learning environment for the students.
Be able to adapt and adjust various activities and experience in school for the students. This includes planning for and helping them with this, so they can fully participate.
Requirements:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting. This includes experience working with students who have special needs.
Have strong team-working and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with a larger team.
