Venture Recruitment Partners is working exclusively with a Fareham construction business in their search for a driven Management Accountant to join a friendly and vibrant finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will offer great progression into a Finance Manager position as you grow. 

This role is office-based: 5 days a week in the on-sitee, 40 hours a week. 

Key responsibilities; 

Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conducted variance analysis, investigated discrepancies, and assisted in preparing insightful reports for management.
Assist with the reconciliation of bank and other key accounts.
Identify and assist in the implementation of process improvements within the finance department.

Key skills & experience:

Be actively pursuing professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) with support from the company.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage)
