Senior Building Physics Engineer

This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK's leading environmental consultancy who consist of highly technical sustainability consultants who provide specialist services to the built environment. They are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Building Physics Engineer who is looking to progress to a Principal level and join their team in their Guildford offices.
Key responsibilities for a Senior Building Physics Engineer include:
Produce general energy and sustainability strategies and reports for clients to minimise the environmental impact of their projects
Use IES-VE software to carry out overheating assessments, operational energy analysis, and daylight calculations
Produce EPCs and SAP assessments for non-domestic and commercial projects
Provide building energy consumption and embodied carbon advice across all stages of the design development processThe ideal Senior Building Physics Engineer will have:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a building physics role within the built environment
Strong experience with IES-VE when carrying out energy modelling to optimise building performance
Working towards or has achieved CIBSE Low Carbon Energy Assessor with experience delivering Commercial EPCs
Working knowledge of UK building regulations such as Part L and Part O
It would be beneficial to have an energy assessor qualification such as an OCDEA or NDEA
