Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit for a receptionist to join a business in Durham.
This is a full time and permanent role and would suit someone who is will effectively be the first point of contact for customers, both in person and over the telephone.
Hours are 8am -5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Duties include.
* Answering inbound switchboard calls, qualifying the reason for the inbound call and directing to appropriate colleague to assist
* Front of house walk in customer contact and directing to appropriate colleague to assist
* Keeping customer waiting area clean and tidy, ensuring enough cups / essentials available for customer use
* Dealing with inbound supplier contact to front desk – deliveries, stationery, water etc
* Ensuring post is dealt with daily
* Maintain and input customer deposit log
* Maintain Sales Colleague attendance log
* Updating database
