Structural Engineer
Location: Bishops Stortford
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + Benefits Package

Emtech is partnering with a dynamic and growing Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy in Bishops Stortford, looking to expand their Structural Engineering team. We are seeking Structural Engineers or Senior Structural Engineers with UK-based experience in residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to projects from initial concept to completion, developing a client-focused and commercial mindset.
Work on building structures across multiple materials, including reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, masonry, and timber.
Utilize 2D/3D structural design software, including Tekla and TEDDS.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients, architects, and contractors.

What We're Looking For:

Degree: BEng or MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or Engineering Design
Professional Membership: Graduate member of IStructE/ICE
Experience: 2+ years in an engineering consultancy (preferred)
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of structural engineering for building structures
Software Skills: Familiarity with 3D/2D structural design tools
