M4 Recruitment is currently recruiting for warehouse operatives to work for a global logistics company based at Heathrow Airport. The role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse.
Pay Rate:
* £11.44 per hour (days)
* £12.50 per hour (nights)
* PAYE
Shift Start Times: 2 early and 2 late starts in a week
* 5-6am - Early start x2
* 13:00pm- 16:00pm x2
* 4 on 2 off.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensure all goods loaded or unloaded match relevant paperwork.
* Report any suspicious activity related to company’s freight and assets.
* Store and rotate stock according to established procedures.
* Report any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors.
* Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment and equipment.
* Follow workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
* Adhere to operational procedures, rules, and schedules to ensure efficient operations.
* Assist with warehouse inventory controls, typically using a hand-held scanner.
* Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times.
Requirements:
* 5-year work history with references.
* DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (assistance provided if needed).
* Cargo Operative Certificate (assistance provided if needed).
* 1 year warehouse experience
