HGV TECHNICIAN

BASIC SALARY: £50,000-£55,000pa
 
HGV Technician Job Details
Working Hours: Monday-Friday - 06:00-16:00
Location: Birmingham
 
A qualified & experienced HGV Technician is required who is able to work well independently, have good problem solving skills and be confident organising your own day maintaining a fleet of vehicles for a reputable commercial vehicle company.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Mechanic
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience preferred
