Modern Edge Recruitment are currently looking for Maintenance Engineer

* Ensure that all plant equipment and machinery is kept in good working order.

* Carry out all planned preventative maintenance as requested.

* Prioritise and carry out emergency breakdown maintenance.

* Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic faults.

* To carry out TPM requirements as necessary.

* Complete all relevant paperwork associated with the task you are performing in a timely and accurate manner.

* Report any problems regarding equipment and machinery immediately to the Maintenance Manager or the designated deputy.

* Ensure that you are aware of all legal and Company standards and procedures with regards to Health & Safety and that you adhere to them at all times.

* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes cooperation with colleagues.

* Actively take part in any training requested to enhance your role.

* Be prepared to work overtime as and when required.

* To carry out the required maintenance activities during the company shutdown periods.

Qualifications:

* Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.

* City and Guilds or equivalent.

* Worked in a CNC machine environment or similar.

* Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics and electrical fault finding.

* Experience in welding and general fabrication work.

* Experience in sand conveyors, shot blasts, fettling equipment desirable but not essential.

* Ability to read and work closely with drawings
