Office Manager Band 8/SO1 SCP 17-25 (Actual salary £25,499-£30,074) Permanent, term time plus 10 days 37 hours per week
Here at Protocol Education, we are working exclusively with a school in BD4 seeking a full time office manager to join a busy, fully inclusive primary setting.
The successful candidate will:
Lead an administrative team to provide essential support services for staff, students, and parents.
Oversee the daily operations of the administrative office, ensuring exceptional support is delivered to both colleagues and senior leaders.
Manage complex data and information, keeping school systems current and accurate.
Maintain vital school records and databases with a focus on confidentiality, while meeting statutory requirements, including those from external organizations such as the DfE.
Oversee the departmental budget, ensuring best value in purchases and financial transactions and compliance with all policies and procedures.
Assist in HR and recruitment processes, including the hiring of temporary and supply staff.
Essential Requirements:
GCSEs in English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent).
Excellent communication skills, including phone and reception etiquette.
Experience supervising or managing a team.
Senior-level experience in a school office environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with complex databases.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
