Are you a skilled Management Accountant looking for a part-time opportunity with an established business? My client is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join their team and play a key role in their financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop a team of two staff members
Oversee the end-to-end production of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packs, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines
Prepare and analyse monthly P&L statements, providing variance analysis and insightful commentary
Perform and review all balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
Process accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and amortisation journals
Produce comprehensive reports as part of the monthly and quarterly reporting packs submitted to the parent company
Sales business partnering - producing weekly & fortnightly sales reports for overseas staff to monitor performance against budget
Monitor, manage, and forecast company cash flow to ensure financial stability
Oversee payroll processing and review supplier payment runs and ad hoc payments for accuracy and authorisation
Check & authorise supplier payment run and any ad hoc payments
Continual improvement of processes
Lead the preparation of the annual budget and rolling sales forecasts throughout the year
Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate audits
Provide additional financial insights, including capital expense requests for the parent company
Key Requirements
Strong QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates are preferred
Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) candidates will also be considered
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar management accounting role, or as an assistant management accountant ready to take full ownership of a management accounting position
Technical accounting expertise essential - strong grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management accounting
Advanced Excel skills are required
SME experience valued, demonstrating a hands-on approach in a varied role
Experience with Sage 50 and/or Microsoft GP preferred, though experience with other accounting software will be considered
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
