Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for an Auction Porter, for a family run business based in Rowsley.

Dailly Duties:

* Handling a range of valuable items (ranging from furniture, delicate ceramic vases, glass to paintings)

* Assisting in saleroom duties

* Dealing with customers and stock items

* Preparation of internet catalogue (photographing, displaying and processing lots)

* Picking & packing

* Loading & unloading

Hours:

* Week 1 Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30am

* Week 2 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am to 5.30am, Tuesday 9am to 7pm

* 1 hour break - split 2 x 15 minute breaks and 1 x 30 minute break

* Additional Information: Occasional weekend work required as and when to suit the needs of the business, usually 4 times per year on a Sunday afternoon 1 – 5pm

Qualities:

* Excellent customer service skills

* Written and spoken English

* Good computer and Internet skills

* Have a methodological approach to work

* An interest in antiques and collectables is preferable, but no experience is necessary

* A professional, positive attitude

* Reliable and able to cope with a physically demanding role

* Be able to work as part of a small team

* Must be legally entitled to work in the UK

* Must be flexible to work between our salerooms at Derby and Rowsley, and offsite from time to time
