Salary: starting from £35ph (negotiable depending on experience)

Job Overview

EC&I Partners are seeking an experienced EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) Design Engineer to join our clients office-based team in Winsford. This role involves designing, developing, and overseeing electrical and control systems for wastewater treatment projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop EC&I systems for industrial and wastewater treatment projects.
Create technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
Specify and select electrical components, instrumentation, and control systems.
Ensure compliance with BS 7671, ATEX, IEC 61508, and other relevant regulations.
Conduct design reviews, and risk assessments.
Provide technical support to project teams and liaise with clients and contractors.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project specifications.
Collaborate with site teams to support installation and commissioning activities.
Requirements

Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar).
Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems.
Understanding of ATEX and functional safety standards.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
