Job Title: Night Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Chesterfield

What’s On Offer:

* Hourly Rate: £23 per hour

Our client, a leading manufacturing business based in Chesterfield, is seeking an Electrical Biased Night Shift Maintenance Engineer with additional mechanical skills to join their team. The Role:

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 20:00 - 04:30; Friday, 18:00 - 24:00
Hours Paid: 36.5 hours per week (with a 30-minute break deducted)
Hands-On Work: This role is 100% hands-on, providing technical maintenance to support production efficiency.
Role Bias: Electrical bias, but a multiskilled approach is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance.

* Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.

* Address any urgent breakdowns to maintain production flow.

* Collaborate with the team to continually improve equipment reliability and safety.

About You:

Experience: Proven background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Skills: Strong electrical maintenance skills, with additional mechanical abilities being a plus.
Work Ethic: Must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently on a night shift.
Mindset: Adaptable, problem-solver with a proactive approach to maintenance.
