Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a leading Construction & Maintenance company in Hull. As one of the region’s top building, repairs, and maintenance contractors, they currently employ 500 people and have a £50m turnover – with ambitious plans for further growth.

The Role

We are looking for skilled Plasterers and Tilers to carry out a mix of domestic and commercial work, including maintenance, repairs, and new construction projects. The role involves:

* Plastering & Tiling – Delivering high-quality work for maintenance repairs and construction contracts.

* Customer interaction – Discussing requirements and ensuring a professional service.

* Working to specifications – Following drawings and work sheets accurately.

* Mobile working – Attending multiple job locations daily with minimal supervision.

* Mentoring apprentices – Supporting trainees in developing their skills.

* Admin tasks – Completing necessary paperwork accurately.

* Driving company vehicles – Ensuring safe and responsible driving.

Hours of Work

* Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week).

Qualifications & Experience

* Plastering & Tiling Expertise – Proven experience in repairs, maintenance, and new installations.

* Qualifications – Time-served or NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds in Plastering (preferred but not essential).

* Full UK driving licence – Essential for the role.

* Appearance – You must be clean-shaven daily due to health & safety requirements.
