Job Overview
We are seeking a Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our workshop. We manufacture & build Exhibition stands. You will be overseeing the work of 10 workshop carpenters.

Monday - Friday 7am - 15.30pm (overtime and additional unsociable hours will be paid additionally to the basic salary)

You will have your own office

Responsibilities

- Stocktaking and Ordering of materials

- Stand designs to be discussed with the Project Manager
- Manage workshop staff and delegate tasks effectively
- Ensure the workshop operates efficiently and meets production targets
- Maintain workshop equipment and arrange for repairs when necessary
- Assemble, weld, and use power tools as needed
- Interpret schematics and troubleshoot technical issues
- Oversee inventory management and order supplies as required

Experience
- Previous experience within an exhibition workshop environment
- Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance
- Skilful with hand tools and power tools
