Role: Hire Controller

Location: St Albans

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week

Salary: £12.50 - £14.00 an hour, weekly pay

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Hire Controller to join a fast paced, busy client based in St Albans

This is a Temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent. Immediate Start Available.

Duties of a Hire Controller:

Provide excellent service to customers both face-to-face and over the phone, answering queries and offering advice on the best tools and equipment for their needs.
Process hire orders, ensuring accurate documentation and the timely delivery and collection of tools and equipment.
Keep track of inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure equipment is well-maintained and ready for hire.
Organise deliveries and collections, ensuring that all customer orders are fulfilled on time and to the highest standards.
Ensure that all equipment is safe for use and complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
Address any customer issues or concerns promptly, demonstrating a problem-solving attitude.
What we would like from you:

Proven experience within Hire or similar industry
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
Highly organised and strong attention to detail
Administration and PC skills
Ability to work under pressure
Full driving is preferred, due to location
