A1 Jobs have a permanent opportunity to work with our client to secure a Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing and Branding

· Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, strategy documents, and social media analytics reports to align with business objectives.

· Ensure branding and messaging consistency across all channels, including vehicle branding, staff uniforms, and shopfront signage.

· Collaborate with the website development team to create, update, and optimise website content for all areas of the business

Content Creation and Management

· Create and manage digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, business cards, event stands, and presentations tailored to specific audiences.

· Write blog posts for company websites, covering topics such as services, industry trends, and sustainability efforts.

· Work closely with a film production company to create compelling promotional content, such as a corporate promotional film highlighting our journey to net zero and other milestones.

Digital and Social Media Marketing

· Manage all social media platforms including scheduling posts, creating content, and analysing performance metrics.

· Manage internal communication channels, like our staff hub social media pages, designing surveys, and sharing company news.

· Oversee digital campaigns, including email marketing for events, conferences, and follow-ups from inquiries.

· Advertise job openings on company websites and social media, ensuring strong outreach to potential candidates.

Event Management and Coordination

· Organise company participation in events such as trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences, ensuring optimal brand exposure.

· Plan and execute employee and charity events to foster internal engagement and community goodwill.

· Liaise with organisations like the TSA, charities, and chambers of commerce to create collaborative opportunities.

Sustainability and ESG Communication

· Communicate the company’s journey toward achieving net zero and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

· Coordinate branding and messaging for business involvement with the UN Global Compact, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals.

Customer and Community Engagement

· Work closely with the Account Manager to develop strategies to retain and expand our customer base, including loyalty programs and feedback collection.

· Design and deliver tailored service presentations to specific customer groups.

· Respond to website inquiries promptly and professionally.

Research and Recognition

· Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis.

· Research and apply for industry awards to recognise company and staff achievements.

Collaboration and Policy Development

· Partner with senior leadership to align marketing campaigns with overarching business goals.

· Assist in policy development, including crafting and refining internal documents.

Qualifications and Skills

· Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities to manage diverse projects and deadlines.

· Strong communication skills, including copywriting, email communication, and content creation.

· Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management (business suite) and SEO.

· Creative flair with an eye for design, ensuring all branding materials meet high-quality standards. Comfortable using CANVA or something similar, to create content.

· Commitment to sustainability and experience in communicating corporate ESG goals
