Key Responsibilities of an English Teacher:

Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles and abilities. Deliver instruction that enhances students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Regularly evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, tests, and other assessments. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and reach their academic goals.
Encourage a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning, where students feel supported and motivated to participate actively.
Identify students who may need extra help and provide additional support or differentiated instruction to ensure all students succeed.
Encourage an appreciation for English literature and effective communication by introducing diverse texts and fostering discussions around themes, language, and interpretation.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
Teaching certification or license is preferred.
Experience teaching English or a related subject is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
