Our client are a leading Builders Merchant providing Building Supplies to a mixture of trade and retail customers.

Due to their continued success and internal development, they are looking for a Sales Manager to join their busy and high profile branch.

The Sales Manager will have 5 direct reports and will manage the Internal Sales and Trade Counter sales team within the branch. In addition to overall responsibility for the branches sales performance, you will liaise with transport to ensure a smooth sales process, deal with stock control to ensure that customers orders can be fulfilled, and ensure that company best practice is being adhered to at all times.

Due to the nature of the industry, it is essential that the successful candidate be from the Builders Merchant industry. This role would suit a current Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager who is sales focused and would rather concentrate on Sales as opposed to the operational management of a branch.

The package is as follows:

- Basic salary of up to c£50k
- Company Car (this is not as standard but can be provided if the onboarding employee currently has a company car within their current position.
