Role Overview:
Position: SENDCo
Salary: Leadership Scale L8 (£59,167)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: Darwen (BB3)
The successful candidate will lead the school’s SEND provision, ensuring that all students with additional needs receive the support required to achieve their full potential. The role involves overseeing Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), liaising with external agencies, and providing leadership to ensure an inclusive, supportive environment.
Requirements:
Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be in the process of completing it).
Proven experience working with SEND students in a leadership capacity.
Strong understanding of SEND policies and procedures.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
