Job Title: Asbestos Supervisor (Removals)
Location: Bristol, Somerset
Salary/Benefits: £150 - £220 (day rate) + Training & Benefits

Our client is a UKAS accredited and well-respected Asbestos Removal Contractor, who provide the full range of Asbestos services to their client base. Due to recently winning new contracts, they are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Removals Supervisor for their Removals division. Applicants must have proven success in overseeing Asbestos Removals Projects in the South West of England. It is essential to be fully conversant in H&S & industry guidelines and procedures. They are offering excellent day rates and benefits for the successful candidate.

Locations of work include: Bristol, Keynsham, Bath, Chippenham, Radstock, Frome, Warminster, Melksham, Trowbridge, Yate, Malmesbury, Thornbury, Portishead, Chew Magna, Weston-super-Mare, Wells, Glastonbury, Steet, Shepton Mallet, Bridgwater, Taunton, Swindon, Cirencester, Dursley, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cinderford, Newport, Cardiff, Barry, Caerphilly, Bridgend.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have strong experience managing asbestos removals projects of varying sizes
- Strong leadership skills and experience of managing teams of site staff
- Will hold the Supervisor Ticket and / or RSPH Level 3 Asbestos Supervisor ticket
- Ideally will have a valid CSCS and SSSTS
- Good IT skills
- Comfortable liaising directly with clients
- Flexible to travel as required

The Role:
- Managing the successful completion of asbestos removals projects of varying size and value
- Attending client sites to gauge scope of projects and producing detailed quotations and plans for works
- Overseeing teams of asbestos removal operatives, providing training and managing workloads
- Being a key point of contact for clients, answering technical and logistical issues and providing advice
- Contacting clients to provide updates on projects
- Ensuring projects run in line with agreed timeframes and budgets
- Maintaining compliance across all projects, ensuring the correct PPE is worn
- Ordering materials and organising the hiring and off-hiring of equipment
- Travelling as required by clients
