Manufacturing Supervisor – Newry

With continuous investment in research and development, they are growing fast and are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to grow with them.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team to ensure the efficient manufacturing of top-quality products playing a crucial role in driving performance improvements and ensuring targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate production teams to meet daily and annual targets

* Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

* Maximize efficiency and output while minimizing waste

* Monitor production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives

* Ensure all products meet quality standards and compliance requirements

* Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Process Excellence teams

* Maintain detailed and accurate reports on production activities

* Train and develop team members to enhance skills and efficiency

The Ideal Candidate

* A degree or third-level qualification in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field OR 4+ years of relevant manufacturing experience

* Experience in a technical manufacturing environment

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train teams

* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet targets

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
