Our client is a leading residential design and build contractor with a reputation for excellence and a strong presence in the industry, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career and work on prestigious residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and lead the estimating process for residential design and build projects from inception to completion.

* Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for a range of residential projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and extensions.

* Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the correct scope of work and specifications are considered in estimates.

* Evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications to produce competitive, accurate bids.

* Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.

* Monitor market trends and material costs to ensure the most up-to-date pricing is reflected in estimates.

* Work closely with the commercial team to ensure projects remain within budget.

* Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators and assist with training and development.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the residential design and build sector.

* Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, cost management, and procurement.

* Experience with relevant estimating software.

* Exceptional attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
