Highly hybrid – 5 days remote with monthly site visits

£38,000 to £43,000

What will you be doing as a Technical Author?

* Ensuring that all technical activities adhere to engineering procedures, with appropriate internal and independent governance applied.

* Developing and overseeing engineering standards and processes to ensure SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel) and regulatory compliance.

* Offering leadership, guidance, and mentoring to fellow engineers.

* Assisting with external AVC reviews.

* Acting as deputy for the Principal Engineer when required, as part of personal development.

What are we looking for in our next Technical Author?

* Degree-level qualification in a relevant STEM subject (Engineering, Physics, Maths, Science).

* Experience or exposure to the engineering lifecycle.

* Previous involvement in working on complex programmes.

* Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
