Ridgeway & Co are looking for a Site Manager to join a rapidly growing main contractor, delivering fast-paced public sector projects across London. With project durations typically around 20 weeks and values up to £2 million, this role is perfect for a dynamic manager who thrives in a high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day running of fast-track construction projects

*

Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery

*

Ensure all works meet quality, health & safety, and compliance standards

*

Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

*

Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful completion

*

Identify and resolve any on-site issues proactively

Requirements:

*

Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry

*

Background working on public sector projects (schools, healthcare, local authority, etc.) is beneficial

*

Strong knowledge of fast-track project delivery

*

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines

*

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

*

Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification

*

Based in or able to travel across London

Salary & Benefits:
