Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor
Location: Birmingham, UK
Salary: £32,000-£36,000 per annum
My client is a specialised civil engineering contractor operating across the UK. On their behalf, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor to join their team within Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for promoting and managing health, safety, and environmental standards on various civils projects.
Key Responsibilities:
·Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE-related matters.
·Review, update, and manage HSE policies, risk assessments, and work permits.
·Lead and manage incident investigations and oversee health surveillance programs.
·Conduct regular site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
·Manage and coordinate HSE-related training programs.
Candidate Requirements:
·NEBOSH General Certificate is essential; NEBOSH National Diploma is highly desirable.
·Prior experience in the construction industry is essential
·Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to confidentiality.
·Able to travel when required to sites across the UK
Package:
·Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum
·Company van and fuel card provided
·Pension scheme
