Marble Talent Group are currently recruiting for a Chiller Engineer to work for our client based in the Bristol area. This role requires an individual who is technically proficient, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team to ensure that chiller systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Commissioning: Install, test, and commission a variety of chiller systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

*

Maintenance & Servicing: Perform regular preventive maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of chiller systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

*

Repairs & Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose and repair faults in chiller systems, both on-site and remotely, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.

*

System Upgrades: Conduct system upgrades and retrofits to improve energy efficiency and extend the life of chiller equipment.

*

Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to provide technical support, guidance, and recommendations for system improvements.

*

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance activities, including parts used and timesheets. Complete detailed reports for clients as required.

*

Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety policies, ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.

*

Emergency Call-Outs: Be available for emergency call-outs, responding promptly to client needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

*

Essential:

*

NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.

*

F-Gas certification (Mandatory).

*

Proven experience in maintaining, installing, and servicing chiller systems.

*

Strong understanding of refrigeration principles and equipment, including compressors, evaporators, and condensers.

*

Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs on chiller systems, both mechanical and electrical.

*

Experience with control systems and variable speed drives.

*

Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.

*

Willingness to participate in out-of-hours and weekend call-outs.

*

Desirable:

*

Additional qualifications in electrical systems or HVAC.

*

Knowledge of building management systems (BMS).

*

Experience with air-cooled and water-cooled chiller systems.

*

Previous experience in a commercial or industrial environment.
