Graduate Structural Engineer

I am actively seeking a bright structural engineering graduate who has a keen interest in structural design to join a successful, well-established, civil and structural design consultancy in the Cardiff office. Working on a variety of projects, many of which focus on steel, concrete and masonry design, you will get the chance to work on projects from conception through to completion stage. Current workload spans across utilities, residential, commercial, educational and leisure type buildings.

Our client is offering an excellent training programme which will allow the graduate to work on design, get involved in project management, work with the drafting team and generally get a feel for all aspects of the design environment. In order to be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer role you will:

Have gained a strong degree in civil or structural engineering (a 2,1 or first class MEng being preferable)
Previous experience such as modules at University focusing on steel/concrete design would be beneficial
A working knowledge of CAD would be advantageous although not essential.
You will display a hardworking, proactive approach to work
You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal
