Role: Handyperson

Location: HMP IOW

Standard Rate: £16

Duration: Temporary role, with the opportunity to be long term

Typical hours: Monday to Wednesday 08:00 - 17:00 (24 hours PW paid)

Handyperson duties will include but not be limited to:

Performing minor electrical and plumbing repairs
Carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance and repair tasks
Working independently or as part of a team
Following safety procedures
Flushing of taps and water temperature takingAbout You:

Previous experience of handy work is essential
legionella awareness (ACOP L8) qualifications
Be safety conscious
Have been living in the UK for the past 3+ yearsDue to the nature of the environment, you will be asked to complete the standard Security Vetting for the establishments.
