Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with pupils who have ASD.

About the role

Role is working 1:1 with a pupil in KS1 who has ASD
Support the pupil with social interactions as well as academically
Student is described as being academically engaged but will need support accessing the curriculum
Role is in Islington and will be full time starting in September 2024

School is looking for someone who has experience with ASD
Having good curriculum knowledge is also important for the school
School has excellent transport links

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Have experience working with ASD or SEN
