We are working with an award winning, independent insurance broker based in East Sussex who are looking for an New Business Executive to join their growing office!

Our client offers a unique and personalised service to their customers and they are looking for like-minded individuals who are customer focused and have a passion for sales to be a part of the companies journey.

Job Role:

* Work collaboratively with the sales department, picking up warm leads passed over to you

* Build relationships with new and existing clients

* Identify and develop opportunities to win new business and grow existing clients portfolios via cross selling and up selling

* Drive activity to personally write New Business income per month and demonstrate a constant focus on proactive actions which will enable you to quote business

* Understand risks and negotiate with Insurers on policy quotations

* Use active listening to discuss all additional services and covers relevant to the customer

* Deliver excellent customer service to clients, brokers and insurers

* Remain up to date and follow all regulatory and company legislation and procedures

Knowledge required:

* Proven sales track record

* Success in cultivating relationships internally and externally

* Ability to meet and/or exceed targets

* Insurance experience preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided

Skills:

* Be driven and passionate to learn and develop within insurance and sales

* Ambitious and able to cope with positive change

* Strong communication and articulate

* Great negotiation skills

The Offer:

* A salary of up to £30k + monthly uncapped commission
