Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with a leading contractor based in Ipswich to find a talented Design Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

You will support their projects from concept through to completion and also play a key role in coordinating design activities, ensuring that all designs meet project specifications and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop and refine joinery designs.

* Produce and review detailed drawings and plans using AutoCAD.

* Coordinate design efforts with the production team to ensure feasibility and accuracy.

* Maintain up-to-date project documentation and ensure design compliance with industry standards and regulations.

* Assist in resolving any design-related issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

* Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide design solutions that align with their vision.

Requirements:

* AutoCAD Experience: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with a strong ability to create and modify technical drawings.

* Joinery Experience: Previous experience in joinery or carpentry is highly desirable, though not essential.

* Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

* A proactive approach with a problem-solving mindset.
