Job Opportunity: Customer Services Officer - Temporary Contract ?

Position: Customer Services Officer

Contract Duration: ASAP, 3 Months With the possibility of an extension.

Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, 09:00 - 17:00.

Location: RG19 6AD

Pay Rate: £12.93 per hour (PAYE)

Role Overview:

To provide transactional administration support to resolve customer queries through the Customer Service Management Centre across the range of channels we offer.

Offer multi-skilled administrative responses to customer queries across Housing, Garages and Mutual Exchanges, Repairs, and Home Ownership that come through the Customer Service Management Centre (e.g. permissions, application processing, boundary enquiries, tenancy/lease information etc.) in line with policies and procedures

Liaise directly with internal colleagues and external customers to solve problems in a timely, efficient and effective manner. Highlight and respond to all enquiries, making sure customers receive a prompt response and are kept informed of progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with all customers in a courteous, prompt and appropriate manner using excellent written and verbal communication skills at all times and by agreed Customer Service standards and statutory procedures relevant to the service area.
Respond to customer requests for information or service using appropriate digital resources to ensure the highest quality service is maintained.
Manage the expectations of both the assessors and clients by giving reliable and accurate information.
Prioritising workloads to ensure best interests are applied and business needs are met.
Create and accurately maintain all electronic records ensuring compliance with GDPR for GIS and all partner services and agencies.
Engage with difficult or upset customers, handling complaints professionally and courteously in line with corporate proceduresQualifications:

Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Empathetic and patient approach when dealing with customers.
Problem-solving abilities to address customer issues effectively.
Proficiency in using customer service software and tools.
